About the author
YAY PADUA-OLMEDO graduated from the University of Santo Tomas (BA in Communication Arts, cum laude). She was Vice-President for Corporate Communication of the San Miguel Food Group until she retired in 1998. After her retirement, she became an entrepreneur servicing the corporate and marketing communication needs of client corporations. Today, she devotes her time to teaching, writing, doing consultancy work, conducting business and motivational seminars, and volunteering at church activities. Yay is wife to Jack Olmedo, a professional mechanical engineer; mother to Carmela and Carlo; and proud grandmother to Paolo Joaquin and Charlize Nicole.
